Every time I see something like this I wonder what percentage of people could not have avoided that accident. Good for you for paying attention (and I hope you’ve had a chance to relax now).

Good thing the idiot stopped. Had he kept going, you still would have hit him. Sometimes, it’s better to go where the other car was rather than where he is going. Still, you did a good job driving out of danger. Most people just hit the brakes. It’s (almost) always better to drive out of a wreck than just try to stop.

I T bones a mini van when I was in college. The van did not stop and I locked up my brakes and hit the rear quarter panel. Totaled my $500 car.
